Sometimes prayer can help you win a big prize. At least it did the trick in the story of an anonymous lottery winner in a recent lottery. The anonymous player won R314,000 after placing a R15 bet on the outcome of the lottery. 

The winner said the money came at the right time:

“The past year has been very tough on me and my family. My prayer for 2021 was for relief from my financial burden so that I can be able to afford at least the most basic things for myself and family.”

As a reminder, three other people won the day’s National Lottery jackpot of R387,000 on Tuesday. They split that amount between them, meaning each of the anonymous players received R129,000.
